About Ann Peterson
Ann Peterson, photographer and former teacher, created MUNDO IMAGES in 2007. As a young girl, Ann and her family lived in Spain and Ireland. Her childhood led her to develop a passion for travel, photography, and the Spanish language.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and a Master's in Spanish Language and Literature, Ann taught English as a Foreign Language in Europe and Central America and taught Spanish in the United States. Ann has thrived on opportunities to travel as a volunteer and explore with her camera. She has planned and led many eco-trips to Central America with her students and worked on a biological reserve in the Galápagos Islands. She has also worked with endangered Leatherback turtle programs in Costa Rica and Panama.
MUNDO IMAGES is a culmination of Ann’s love of exploring the world with photography, educating young people, and working to improve the environment. MUNDO IMAGES takes pride in making environmentally responsible decisions.
